Our Olympic weight plates feature a 2-inch center bore, which is the Olympic standard and is designed specifically for Olympic barbells—including the barbells we carry in our lineup. Standard barbells typically use a 1-inch sleeve diameter, which is not compatible with these plates. We recommend pairing them with any of our Olympic barbells to get the most out of your setup.
The hammertone coating on our 175LB Olympic Plates Set is a textured, durable finish applied to the steel surface to help resist rust, chipping, and general wear over time.
